Summer Evening in Islamabad

If you cant change it then start enjoying it.
It was a regular summer evening in Islambad. On my way back to university, I was feeling some headache while driving my honda cg 125. For the first time I was realising, how difficult it is to move in the slow lane.
Reached back to hostel in like 25 minutes which otherwise I would have covered in like 5 minutes. I just fell on the mattress in my room. I had my finals just 2 weeks ahead and this sure was not the right time to have a headach like this. I really had very good marks in my mid term and I was 100% confidant to retain my position in the class but aaah this headache was driving me nuts from past few days. I took the desprine pills and tried to open a book. But ,well words started playing wierd games and I though to better take some rest.
I dont know when and how I went to sleep but it sure was comfortable and when I awoke up I was ready to face the next day. and just to be on safe side I went to the university clinic and took some medicine. The doctor said, well it can make your bp fall a bit but nothing serious than that.
That day, the pain cam eback again and it was swear than ever, I hardlly could manage to reach hostel and taken around 8 pills that night. When I woke up in the morning, I was not able to move. heck, I was not able to move at all. I was feeling as if I do not have any life in me and really thought for the first tim ein my life that my end is near. I started reminding all of my shitty life I have been spending, all those sins took some shape and started dancing infront of my eyes. Well, somehow, I gathers th eleft over courage and managed to reach the canteen. took a juice but my stomach refused to keep that in. I was almost fainted in front of the canteen when a friend saw me and took me to the university clinic again. they checked my BP and it was 40-60. They even did not have any idea how I am still surviving on such a low blood pressure. They immidiately injected the drip in my arm.
I was almost half dead or may be unconcious when I started feeling some energy and opened my eyes and saw the hospital bed. And I was thinking, well, I am going to be alright and yes I was gping to be than suddenly a staff person came in and dont know what reaon could have been but increased the speed of drip drain and went away.
In a matter of minutes, I started feeling some cold and soon enough I was like shaking on the bed. Doctor rushed in, gave anti alergic injections to no effect and that was the second time in my life when I was totally convinced that I am going to die on this bed far from my home and my family. Just thinking of it get my eyes watery of how would they react on my death news.
I tried to recite kalma and thanks God, I was abale to, The doctor reffered me to PIMS and when they put me on strecher to the ambulance, many of my friends saw me and joined the van or folowed it to the PIMS. There were like 20 friends in the hospital that might have made the doctors rush toward me and give me some emergency drugs. My fever was shooting up very high and they injected another drip to me. I tried to told them I have already been alergic but they did not bother. But after some time, again I started feeling much better though very week.
I was like so irritated that why this happened to me and only just a few days before my final term papers instead of thanking allah to save me for something better. Well, a friend came in, and he said, "Touseef, you are here by not of your own choice, and you have to get it through so please be brave, be patient and remember always, If you can not change a situation then please accept it and start enjoying it."
I had been admitted to hospital and then to my hostel bed for 2 weeks. had fits as well in those weeks 2 times, and could not even write in the paper in a straight line due to extreme weekness and had poor results that semester but from that day on in the hospital, I never ever forgot to fight back and try to control the situation or adjust with it. That friend though working in some distant part of the world, have taught a very important lesson of my life for the years to come.
